Italian Bilingual Expert

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

micro1 is engaging Italian Bilingual Experts to contribute to an impactful language and AI training project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work
  1. Listen to audio clips in Italian and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
  2. Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
  3. Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
  4. Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
  5. Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
  6. Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in Italian language understanding and generation.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Native-level proficiency in Italian, with strong command of both spoken and written language.
  2. Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
  3. Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is preferred.
  4. Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
  7. Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.
