Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Columbus, IN, working in an outpatient setting. Provide evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and direct discipline-specific therapy services to support patient return to community activities. Maintain professional licensure, complete required documentation and participate in quality improvement and student education activities. Uphold organizational values and safety practices while promoting patient and employee safety.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
- Active Indiana Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Minimum of relevant outpatient physical therapy experience; new graduates are not eligible for this role.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Demonstrated competency in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Ability to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and modify plans based on clinical reasoning and functional goals.
- Willingness to participate in student supervision and professional development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient clinic settings.
- Experience with safe patient handling and general clinic safety practices.
