Job description

Attica Motorsports is a state of the art, climate controlled shop that is looking to hire strong, experienced technicians for our service department! This job will be responsible for diagnosing then repairing mechanical and electrical issues on off road machines. We’re looking for a well-trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his or her work. The work week at Attica Motorsports is generally Tuesday through Saturday with opportunities for overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Diagnose machines based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
  • Repair ATVs, UTV / Side by Sides, Dirt & Street Bikes
  • Test drive machines after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
  • Describe the machine’s condition to the customer and answer any follow-up questions
  • Perform wellness checks on vehicles
  • Knowledge of computers and computer diagnostics is desirable
  • File appropriate documentation on each repair
  • Follow all safety and operational protocol
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Include

  • Formal education or certification in vehicle repair
  • At least two years of experience in vehicle repair. Off road machine experience is a plus
  • A great attitude
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, grasp with hands, stand for long periods of time, and lift 50 lbs
  • Strong passion for powersports is a plus
  • Work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast pace environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $40.00 per hour
