Job description

Our client's design team is seeking a talented Junior Designer to develop graphics for print, web, and our award-winning products, spanning multiple brands. We're looking for someone who is passionate about design, bicycles, and engineering who wants to be a part of a fast-paced design process that allows your vision become reality. As part of our design team, the Junior Designer will assist in creating print, web, and product graphics in a variety of mediums.

The ideal candidate will balance the creative process with technical execution documentation to see his or her project through production within a strict timeline. You will request and implement group feedback and will be willing to commit the time and passion necessary to keep the client at the leading edge of our industry. The Junior Graphic Designer is a full-time, salaried position and reports to the Design Manager.

Responsibilities: Work with design team to generate graphic concepts for ongoing design projects Assist in producing catalogs, price lists and other material while maintaining brand aesthetic across multiple deliverables. Photoshop tasks such as clipping path creation, masking, color correction, retouching, and compositing images Prepare Illustrator and InDesign files for print. Execution of web advertisements and banners using art direction from Design Manager Generate graphic concepts for softgoods and accessories Participate in departmental design reviews Maintain graphic database and mood board archive Market and trending research Produce internal and external documentation templates and forms Qualifications: Two or more years of professional design experience The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines A strong sense of typography, composition, and visual harmony Strong verbal and written communication skills Manual and digital illustration and rapid ideation skills Understanding of Print and Web graphics production processes Strong organizational skills and the ability to process large amounts of data to be used in design projects.

Agency experience helpful; must be able to collaborate effectively with marketing and sales teams.
