Keylent Inc is seeking a Big Data Hadoop Tester to work with big data analytics engineers. The role involves developing automated testing systems, creating test plans, and performing bug tracking and management to ensure the quality of big data systems.
Responsibilities:
• Work with big data analytics engineers to develop automated testing systems.
• Develop testing software that will generate and validate test data for big data systems.
• Develop testing software that will investigate the performance and scalability of big data systems.
• Design and implement automated testing systems using Java.
• Develop and update scripts in Bash and Python;
• Write and build codes using Hive, Pig, UNIX;
• Develop PL/SQL queries to extract and update data from various database tables and perform data validation and verification;
• Run data analytics in Spark using Spark SQL;
• Perform bug tracking and defect management using JIRA, ALM;
• Develop a web application from end to end and deploy it on a Tomcat server in an AWS EC2 instance;
• Testing Big Data storage systems using tools & frameworks like Hive, EMR, Spark, Spark SQL;
• Work with product managers and development leads to create testing strategies.
• Create test plans and test cases for assigned components.
