Job Summary:
NGDATA US INC is seeking a Big Data Engineer to manage customer engagements and oversee the complete lifecycle from discovery to support. The role involves designing solution architectures, collaborating with teams to translate business requirements, and developing data integration frameworks.
Responsibilities:
• Own customer engagements complete lifecycle – including discovery, design, development, delivery, and support.
• Design and review solution architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure alignment of deliverables and timelines.
• Create detailed functional requirement specifications and technical design documents.
• Perform data modeling and data preparation activities and apply data cleaning techniques.
• Design and develop data integration and ETL frameworks using tools such as Apache NiFi and use restful APIs for enterprise platform integrations.
• Implement big data marketing solution using NGDATA Intelligent Engagement Platform, by analyzing customer data, creating segments, and targeting groups.
• Perform code reviews, functional testing of deliverables, and deployment activities.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Master's degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• At least 48 months of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Software Engineer, Business Intelligence Engineer, or Business Analyst.
• Min. 4 years of experience in project implementation, data preparation, data modelling, customer data, Python, Tableau/PowerBI, SQL, Oracle/MySQL, Jira, and Confluence.
• Min. 2 years of experience in Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, MapReduce, NiFi, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
