Operating Room Nurse (RN) - Perioperative Services - Surgical Nurse

$15,000 Sign-On Bonus | Experienced OR Nurses
Join our surgical team and receive a $15,000 bonus! We are looking for skilled OR RNs ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nationally recognized Perioperative Services team. We offer challenging and rewarding roles across a variety of surgical specialties in both full-time and part-time positions. (24, 32, 36 or 40 hour per week)

As a Level One Trauma and Magnet-designated hospital, we provide an environment of nursing excellence, competitive salaries, and flexible scheduling to support your success and help you discover new possibilities.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Active RN licensure in Massachusetts
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
  • Completed Periop 101 program
  • American Heart Association BLS 

Preferred

  • BSN
  • 2 years OR experience

Shifts & Scheduling

  • Staff work 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
  • Requires participation in an on-call rotation covering off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Operating Room West  

Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery 

Bariatric, Neurosurgery, ENT, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Major Plastic Reconstruction, Robotic Surgery, and Kidney & Liver Transplants.

Operating Room East

High-volume general and specialized surgery (40-60 cases/day)    
OB/GYN, Colorectal, Plastics, Ortho-sports, General, ENT, Eyes, Cysto, General Urology, Robotics, Interventional Pulmonology, and Podiatry.

Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVI OR)

State-of-the-art facilities, including two endovascular suites and a cardiac hybrid room.

Each day our team staffs 4 cardiac surgery rooms are covered along with 3 vascular/endovascular rooms and 2-3 thoracic rooms

Cardiac, Endovascular/Vascular, Thoracic, and Interventional Pulmonology.

Pay Range:

$38.00 - $98.19

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
