A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our team as Bid Manager in our Grid Consulting business! The day kicks off with a thorough review of project updates to stay informed on the latest developments and client communications. • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining effective communication and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consulting, engineering, finance, and legal departments, to align bid objectives and strategies.
  • Monitor and report on bid progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.

  • Proven experience in power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, dynamic and transient stability, harmonics analysis, and sub-synchronous control interactions.
  • 5+ years' experience in bid management within the power systems or energy sector, demonstrating the ability to lead and manage large-scale bids, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Experience in writing and coordinating technical proposals and bids for power system projects, showcasing strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in power systems engineering, along with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Willing to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
