Commercial Painting Estimator

Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (DFW) | Full-Time

QuestMark Construction Services is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join our growing Construction Services team based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

This position will focus on estimating and securing commercial and industrial painting projects throughout Texas and surrounding regions. If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment, we’d like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial painting projects
  • Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Work directly with General Contractors, owners, architects, and project teams
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
  • Assist with value engineering and scope reviews
  • Coordinate with project management during project turnover
  • Maintain bid schedules and proposal deadlines
  • Support business development and cultivate relationships with customers and industry partners

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial painting estimating experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial painting systems
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Experience estimating projects ranging from $50,000 to $10+ million
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally
