Estimator – Commercial & Industrial PaintingA Bit About Us

We are a specialized contractor delivering commercial and industrial painting services across large-scale projects throughout the region. Our work includes warehouses, distribution centers, data centers, and industrial facilities, partnering with leading general contractors on both new construction and large renovations.

Our scope covers interior and exterior painting, industrial coatings, and joint caulking systems, with an emphasis on quality execution, schedule reliability, and long-term client relationships.

Job Details

As an Estimator – Commercial & Industrial Painting, you will be responsible for developing accurate, competitive bids for complex painting and coatings scopes, with a strong emphasis on industrial facilities.

You will work closely with operations and leadership to price work correctly, manage risk, and support successful project execution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and bid documents for painting and coatings scope

  • Performing quantity takeoffs and pricing for:

    • Interior and exterior painting

    • Industrial and high-performance coatings

    • Joint caulking and sealant systems

  • Estimating large industrial projects such as:

    • Warehouses and distribution centers

    • Data centers

    • Manufacturing and industrial facilities

  • Coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing

  • Preparing detailed proposals and bid submissions for general contractors and owners

  • Attending pre-bid meetings, site walks, and scope reviews as needed

  • Supporting project turnover and assisting with scope clarification during startup


Qualifications
  • 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial and industrial painting

  • Strong preference for candidates with industrial project experience (warehouses, DCs, data centers)

  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and coatings scopes

  • Experience with interior/exterior painting and joint caulking systems

  • Proficiency with takeoff and estimating software On (Bluebeam, OST, or similar)

  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proven ability to produce accurate bids and support successful project awards
