Genius Monkey

Posted 25 days ago

Job description

Genius Monkey is expanding our Campaign Management team and searching for a dedicated Display & Video 360 (DV360) expert to lead our programmatic buying on the Google Marketing Platform. As we stand up our own DV360 seats, this person will be our in-house authority on the platform - architecting, executing, and optimizing campaigns while mentoring the broader team. This is a senior, specialist role for someone who has lived in DV360 (formerly DoubleClick Bid Manager (DBM), part of the DoubleClick Digital Marketing, DDM, stack) day in and day out for years and can hit the ground running.
Summary of the Position
  • Own end-to-end DV360 campaign management - insertion orders, line items, bid strategies, budgets, pacing, and creatives - across display, video, YouTube, CTV/OTT, audio, and DOOH
  • Build and manage DV360 seat structure, partner/advertiser hierarchy, and workflows as we scale our new seats
  • Design and deploy advanced audience strategies using first-party data, Google audiences, Floodlight activity, and Customer Match, with clean integration to Campaign Manager 360 (CM360, formerly DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DCM)
  • Execute and optimize algorithmic/automated bidding, Custom Bidding scripts, and optimized targeting to hit and beat client KPIs
  • Negotiate and traffic Programmatic Guaranteed, Preferred Deals, and Private Marketplace (PMP) deals; manage deal IDs and inventory quality
  • Optimize to KPIs and establish healthy, sustainable traffic and conversion growth while controlling working-vs-non-working spend
  • Partner with account management and client development teams to maximize ROAS and translate performance into clear client-facing insights
  • Plan, execute, optimize, and track campaigns across DV360 and complementary DSPs and networks
  • Monitor campaign delivery to ensure campaigns run as expected and meet targeting, brand-safety, and viewability objectives
  • Troubleshoot trafficking, tagging, measurement, and discrepancy issues, and serve as the escalation point for DV360 questions across the team
  • Establish DV360 best practices, QA processes, and documentation, and mentor Digital Campaign Specialists on the platform

Education & Experience Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on DV360 (Display & Video 360 / DoubleClick Bid Manager, DCM) campaign management experience - this is a specialist, not a generalist, role
  • Deep, demonstrated command of the Google Marketing Platform: DV360, Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), and Google Analytics; DoubleClick-era experience a strong plus
  • Proven expertise across display, video, YouTube, and CTV buying, plus audience building, Floodlight/conversion tracking, and deal-based (PG/PMP/Preferred) buying
  • Fluency with DV360 reporting, custom bidding, and reading into underlying data to drive optimization decisions
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions from a combination of intuition and data-driven results
  • A passion for developing effective programmatic strategies and staying ahead of platform changes
  • Education: BA or BS degree and 5+ years of comparable programmatic/DV360 experience
  • Google Marketing Platform (DV360) and Google Ads certifications required; additional DSP or measurement-platform certifications a strong plus

Benefits
  • Exceptional Health, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • 401(K) Plan
  • 2 weeks paid time off, 3 weeks after 2 years
