Clamp Operator
This position is a temp to hire position.Location
Minooka, IL
Pay Rate
$21.50 and $22
Shift/Schedule
1st shift 6am-2:30pm plus lots of OT
  • 2nd shift-$22 hrly. (2:30pm-11pm mandatory OT will require 2:30pm-1am or 4pm-4am)

Responsibilities:
CLAMP OPERATOR
  • Minimum of one year of related warehouse and Clamp Truck experience
  • Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand, and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
  • The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Read, interpret, and apply Warehouse Management System (WMS) order instructions
  • Recognize and correct potential process errors before actions adversely affect the customer
  • Recognize damaged product at any point in the warehousing process and take appropriate action when discovered
  • Pull orders accurately as assigned
  • Stage orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location
  • Prepare receiving, storage, and shipping documentation retaining product accountability throughout the logistical process
  • Be aware of and follow location and work center Safety and Security policies and procedures
  • Performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
  • May operate fork-lift equipment or other warehouse machinery
Qualifications
  • At least 1+ year of recent experience operating Clamp Truck.
  • Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends
  • Be able to perform general warehouse functions as needed

  • IL Paid Leave for All Workers
An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave
  • 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.
The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution. As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
