Helper / Material Runner / General Laborer – Surv Raleigh

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $16-$20/hr

**Valid driver's license required**

Hours: ~20+ hours/week (with opportunity for more)

About the Role

This is a hands-on support role working directly with a Lead Technician to keep jobs running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the engine behind the scenes — making sure materials are ready, jobs are documented, and nothing slips through the cracks.

This is not a “stand around and wait” job. We’re looking for someone who is:

Key Responsibilities

Job Support & Materials

  • Assist Lead Technician in completing jobs efficiently
  • Pick up all required materials (primarily from Home Depot using Surv account)
  • Ensure materials are ready for current and upcoming jobs
  • Help prep for the next job before leaving the current one

Job Documentation

  • Take clear before and after photos of all work
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed for every job

Systems & Communication

  • Update all relevant fields in Housecall Pro
  • Keep job notes accurate and up to date
  • Report all job updates, questions, and issues to front office
  • Communicate proactively — don’t wait to be asked

Job Site Support

  • lean and organize the work area for the Lead Technician
  • Keep tools and materials tidy and accessible
  • Help maintain a professional job site at all times
  • Neighborhood Marketing (Bonus Opportunity)
  • Hang door hangers on nearby homes after jobs
  • Eligible for commission on leads generated
