Position Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented BI/Data Analyst with strong experience in enterprise scale projects, data analysis, and business intelligence. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating business needs into actionable insights, building analytical dashboards, and working with large datasets to support data driven decision making. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and leadership to deliver high quality analytics solutions.
This is a Full-Time, On-Site employment opportunity based in Smithfield, RI.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Analyze and translate business needs into functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with enterprise objectives.
. Work with large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and data anomalies that drive business insights.
. Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis across relational databases.
. Utilize data aggregation tools such as Alteryx to prepare, blend, and transform data for reporting and analytics.
. Build and maintain analytics dashboards using Tableau (or similar BI tools) to support decision making and performance tracking.
. Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
. Support data quality initiatives by validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
. Document business requirements, data flows, and reporting logic to ensure transparency and maintainability.
. Work within enterprise scale environments, partnering with cross functional teams to support ongoing analytics initiatives.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or BI/Data Analyst in enterprise scale projects.
. Strong database and SQL knowledge for querying, data validation, and analysis.
. Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
. Hands on experience with data aggregation tools such as Alteryx.
. Proficiency in building Tableau dashboards or similar BI visualizations.
. Strong ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.
. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non technical stakeholders.
. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
. Experience in the financial services domain.
Preferred Qualifications
