To support its technological transformation and to enable data driven decision, Intelcom is currently looking for a Business Intelligence developer intern to support data engineers, developers, and data scientists.
The selected candidate will have to explore the data warehouse and get an understanding of the various data sources to produce ad-hoc analyses and suggest data transformations.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data & analytical requirements.

  • Contribute to bring data from various sources into the data warehouse.

  • Analyze and suggest data transformations to raw data.

  • Write functional analysis documents: Data transformation mapping & workflows design (BPO)

  • Develop and document test scenarios.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines.

  • Participate in data quality initiatives.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for system improvement.

  • Participate in the resolution of incidents and problems. Propose solutions and action plans.

  • Theroleinvolvesdaily(orregular) communicationwithpan-Canadian stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Analysis or a relatedprogram.

  • Interest or experience working as data analyst/developer in data projects.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL (subqueries, CTEs, window functions).

  • Good knowledge of ETL/ELT principles.
