Location: Crystal City, Arlington-VA- 5days Onsite
Duration: Long-Term Contract Required: Active Secret (DOD) Role Summary:
The Analytics / BI Lead will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise reporting, dashboarding, and analytics solutions in support of the organization’s data modernization initiatives. This role will drive business intelligence strategy, establish KPI frameworks, and ensure analytics solutions effectively meet business and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern data warehouse environments, cloud-based platforms, data governance practices, and enterprise BI tools. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI frameworks. • Define and implement analytics and business intelligence strategies aligned with organizational objectives. • Gather, analyze, and translate business and stakeholder requirements into scalable BI solutions. • Collaborate with data architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to support data warehouse modernization initiatives. • Develop and optimize reporting solutions using modern BI tools and platforms. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are incorporated into reporting and analytics processes. • Support development and integration of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based analytics solutions. • Provide leadership and guidance to BI analysts, developers, and cross-functional teams. • Establish best practices for reporting architecture, analytics standards, and performance optimization. • Support executive-level reporting and strategic decision-making through data insights. Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, or related disciplines. • Proven experience leading enterprise analytics and BI initiatives. • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms. • Strong experience with data warehouse concepts and modernization initiatives. • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies. • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data integration frameworks. • Strong understanding of data governance and data quality practices. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications:
• Relevant certifications such as Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, PMP, or equivalent. • Direct experience with: o Data warehouse modernization projects o Cloud data platform implementations o Data pipelines, business intelligence, and data governance initiatives • Experience supporting transportation, public sector, or other regulated industries.
