How you'll contribute 

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) who excels in this role:

  • Responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan.

  • Conducts individual and group psychoeducation, leisure activities and life- skill training and coaching for all patients.

  • Responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

  • CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days of hire.

  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health-care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

  • 1 year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
