Job description

Who We Are
Xponential Fitness, LLC (NYSE: XPOF) is a leading global franchisor of health and wellness brands. Through its mission to make boutique health and wellness experiences accessible to everyone, the Company operates a diversified platform of five brands spanning across verticals including Pilates, barre, stretching, strength-training, and yoga. In partnership with its franchisees, Xponential brands offer energetic, accessible, and personalized workout experiences led by highly qualified instructors in studio locations across 49 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and 30 countries globally. Xponential’s portfolio of brands includes Club Pilates, the largest Pilates brand in the United States; StretchLab, a concept offering one-on-one and group stretching services; YogaSix, one of the largest franchised yoga brands in the United States; Pure Barre, a total body workout that uses the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements, and one of the largest Barre brand in the United States; and BFT, a functional training and strength-based program.
Position Summary
The Senior Regional Director of Operations serves as the primary operational partner for our largest franchise organizations (Consolidators), working with their above-store and operations executive leadership across their portfolio to improve Unit Level Economics, drive ongoing test and learn plans, help identify opportunities within the portfolio, and co-develop brand best practices. This role also functions as a strategic lever for the Field Operations team — ensuring coaching and touchpoint frameworks are effectively deployed, simplifying studio-level execution, and architecting the operational playbook for 2027.

Core Responsibilities
1. Consolidator Strategy amp; Execution (The "Business Coach" Component)
  • High-Impact Consulting: Act as the dedicated "quarterback" for assigned large consolidator groups. Move beyond daily studio tactical support to lead high-level P amp;L reviews, EBITDA optimization, Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews, and multi-unit scaling strategies.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure consolidators use the Path to Profitability dashboard and core Xponential tools as decision-making drivers — not just data repositories.
  • Performance Remediation: Identify systemic operational friction and design proactive interventions that safeguard studio health and long-term financial viability.
2. RDO Field Operations Support (The "Alignment" Component)
  • Standardization Driver: Partner with RVPs to roll out and "roadshow" RDO Field Ops alignment strategies, ensuring the RDO team speaks a consistent language around studio KPIs and action planning.
  • Playbook Architect: Support rollout of the Studio Action Plan, helping RDOs shift from conducting audits to leading high-leverage, action-oriented coaching sessions.
  • Field-to-Brand Feedback Loop: Serve as the primary conduit for field intelligence — translating on-the-ground realities back to brand teams so that pricing, programming, and marketing initiatives are grounded in what's actually executable at the studio level.
  • Tooling Optimization: Audit current operational resources (Scorecards, FIT forms, Growth Planner) and lead the "Ruthless Simplification" of these tools so studio teams can execute their jobs in less time.
3. Consolidation Roadmap
  • Growth Readiness amp; Profiling: Establish KPIs that isolate franchisee growth potential at the unit economic level, prioritizing metrics directly correlated to commercial growth, faster ramp to breakeven, and sustained incremental margin expansion. Use these KPIs to drive portfolio expansion through targeted acquisitions and new studio builds, growing the network of consolidators and larger franchisee groups who can operate profitably at scale.
  • Consolidator Acquisition Pipeline: Proactively identify distressed assets via the At-Risk program and target high-growth trade areas where unit economics support a faster path to breakeven for consolidators. Act as the strategic conduit between underperforming franchisees and consolidator groups — injecting operational maturity to compress time-to-breakeven, mitigate closures, and optimize system-wide EBITDA through sustained, incremental unit-level growth.
  • Success Indicators (The "Scorecard")
  • Consolidator Health: Measurable improvement in the financial performance (EBITDA/AUV) of the six identified consolidator groups, with particular focus on "at-risk" locations identified through FIT/SGC.
  • RDO Calibration: Consistent adoption of the Studio Action Plan across RDO touchpoints, measured by a reduction in "non-actionable" coaching notes.
  • Operational Velocity: A measurable reduction in time RDOs spend on administrative data entry, with a corresponding increase in time spent on value-based coaching — supported by a simplified toolkit.
Cultural amp; Operational Fit
  • System-Builder, Not Fire-Fighter: While capable of extinguishing urgent issues, this person must dedicate roughly 70% of their time to building the systems that prevent problems before they start.
  • Credibility amp; Nuance: Must carry enough operator credibility to earn the trust of large-scale consolidators, paired with the emotional intelligence to navigate cross-functional dynamics between Brand Teams and Field Ops.
  • Radical Simplifier: Able to take a complex, 10-page spreadsheet or process and distill it into the single most important thing a franchisee needs to do this week.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in multi unit or franchise operations, including significant field operations leadership experience.
  • Proven experience partnering with large multi unit franchisees, consolidators, or complex franchise organizations.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience using P amp;L, EBITDA, AUV, and unit economics to drive growth and profitability.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data and field insights into strategic priorities, actionable plans, and scalable operational solutions.
  • Experience developing and implementing operational strategies, tools, processes, or playbooks across a field organization.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility with franchise owners and executive level stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify systemic issues and develop proactive solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% to 50%.
