Mandatory (Core Requirements)

  • 8+ years of data engineering experience in large-scale environments
  • Strong SQL (expert level) for transformations and performance tuning
  • Strong Python for ETL/ELT and data pipelines
  • Experience with Spark (preferably Databricks)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, EMR/Lambda, IAM) and Redshift
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines for AI/ML/analytics
  • Expertise in data modeling & architecture (lakehouse, dimensional models, etc.)
  • Strong experience in data integration / stitching from multiple sources
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata
  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads (feature stores, training datasets, RAG/LLM basics)
  • Ability to optimize cost and performance in cloud environments
  • Strong collaboration with Data Scientists / AI Engineers

Secondary (Preferred / Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience in Fortune 100 or large enterprise environments
