Job description

$5000 sign on bonus for 2 year commitment - FT nights
Must have previous Nursery Experience
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development and the care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Conducts and documents nursing assessments through the collection and analysis of data.
  • Develops and revises the individualized plans of care based on assessment, desired outcome, and knowledge.
  • Demonstrates ability to perform technical skills and procedures related to high risk newborn events
  • Provides patient/family education based on plan of care and identified needs.
  • Promotes customer service initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current RN licensure
  • Current BLS/ACLS/NRP (or obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
  • Current STABLE (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Current De-escalation training (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Level 1: Basic Neonatal Care (obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
  • High Risk RN Only - Level 2 Neonatal Care: Beyond Basics (obtain prior to the completion of orientation)
  • Annual Maternal/Neonatal simulations per policy
