JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner to ensure quality guest service. 

Compensation: $ 9.00 per hour plus tips

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner.
  • Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to bartender to deliver drink order to the guest at their location.
  • Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.
  • Maintains cleanliness of guest areas including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
  • Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations.
  • Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation, including restocking service well with supplies.
  • Checks supplies and maintains proper set up and cleanliness of service stations before, during, and after shift.
  • Prepares coffee and soft drinks for the drink orders.
  • Properly garnishes drinks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong and accurate money handling skills.
  • Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks. 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months experience in related field.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
  • The Team Member will be required to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
  • The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
