Beverage Manager at C. Ellet's Steakhouse
We are seeking a Beverage Manager to join our team of hospitality professionals. Starting pay ranges $60,000-$70,000 + Bonus Potential + Benefits.
Summary of Position
The Beverage Manager will work closely with the General Manager and management team as well as Senior Leadership to efficiently manage our total beverage program, including purchasing and stewarding our collaborative training program. They will manage the role of beverage throughout, from ice water to Champagne and beyond. Responsibilities will also include: supervise staff, inventory and maintenance of the restaurant and to manage day-to-day functions while maintaining and delivering outstanding hospitality and service.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Management and upkeep of administrative duties for all employees
  • Operations management including daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Working proactively, anticipating the needs of your guests
  • Communicating effectively with your guests and peers
  • Scheduling and training plans
  • Working together as a team to ensure everyone is set for success
  • Overseeing ordering of non-food and beverage items
  • Overseeing bar team, working on ideation, recipe testing, and beverage operations
  • Working with marketing and management team on managing beverage book, overseeing wine & spirits offerings
  • Managing COG's and the PCW
  • Managing inventories
  • Managing repairs and maintenance
  • Managing daily service

Education/Experience
  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook 365 and Excel
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent math, reading, writing and communication skills
