Beverage & Service Manager
Position Summary

Core Responsibilities
Beverage Program Leadership
  • Oversee execution and consistency of all beverage offerings including cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Help maintain a beverage program that reflects Lucy's standards of quality, creativity, hospitality, and attention to detail
  • Partner with leadership and culinary teams on seasonal beverage development and menu innovation
  • Ensure beverage presentation, recipes, specifications, and service standards are executed consistently
  • Monitor bar operations to ensure speed, cleanliness, organization, and professionalism
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, organization, and beverage cost control
  • Support relationships with distributors, vendors, and beverage partners

Beverage Training & Education
  • Lead ongoing beverage education for front-of-house team members
  • Train staff on cocktail preparation, wine knowledge, spirits, pairings, coffee offerings, and responsible alcohol service
  • Ensure bartenders and servers can confidently and enthusiastically communicate beverage offerings to guests
  • Foster a culture of learning, curiosity, hospitality, and professionalism behind the bar and on the floor

Floor Leadership & Guest Experience
  • Actively lead shifts and support overall dining room operations
  • Engage with guests and help create memorable, personalized experiences
  • Support communication and collaboration between the bar, kitchen, and service teams
  • Help maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused culture throughout the restaurant
  • Address guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
  • Lead by example in service standards, professionalism, teamwork, and hospitality execution

  • Wine certifications or advanced beverage knowledge are a plus
  • Nights, weekends, and holidays required
