MERCHANDISER

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned, local Arizona beverage wholesaler that distributes a wide portfolio of beverages, including Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) beers, top selling local and regional craft beers, premium non-alcohol beverages, and an extensive assortment of award-winning fine wines and spirits. We maintain a fine lineup of world-class products, and even more importantly, a strong team of world-class people.

Position Summary:

Sales Service Merchandisers work closely with our sales team to ensure that our retail stores are stocked and maintained. They are responsible for merchandising, managing, and stocking inventory, as well as maintaining Hensley products in each account. Sales Merchandisers also work to build and maintain strong supplier relationships in order to increase sales.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Work with Operations Leadership and Sales team to service accounts; greet customers, refill/rebuild backstock, shelves and displays; prefill and build displays for weekly ad set-up
  • Stock and rotate cold shelf/cooler with products from display inventory or from the retailer's backroom
  • Fill shelves and displays with products in a manner that is organized and neat
  • Support displays with themed Point of Sale material to enhance sales opportunity
  • Work efficiently with all tasks and obligations assigned by Operations Leadership
  • Follow safety protocol and training while always maintaining safety measures
  • Check and monitor Hensley Beverage and competitive shelf and display pricing
  • Communicates out of stock items to Sales rep assigned to each account
  • Maintain daily reports, both physical and virtual, and report back daily to the on-duty supervisor
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Good communication skills and cheerful disposition
  • Must have reliable transportation, we will provide vehicle allowance
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Auto insurance coverage (must have minimum coverage in the amount of $25,000 per person/$50,000 per accident and a minimum of $25,000 in property damage) Must provide us with a copy of the declaration page of your auto insurance prior to employment
  • Frequently required to lift to thirty-five (35) pounds
  • The role may involve ascending and descending from a stable ladder to reach high shelves.
  • The position requires frequent maneuvering of objects up to 30 lbs
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must have a cell phone with data capability, we will provide cell phone allowance
  • Previous beverage industry/merchandiser experience helpful, but not necessary
  • Ability to successfully clear background check, drug test and/or physical
