Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to gauge client mental health status and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapeutic sessions utilizing diverse modalities tailored to the client’s needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
  • Establish clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients, monitoring their progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate teletherapy sessions to ensure accessibility for clients facing mobility or geographical challenges, while maintaining a supportive and engaging counseling environment.
  • Document session notes and treatment progress rigorously to adhere to ethical standards and facilitate effective care coordination.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and professional development activities to remain current with best practices and foster personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health therapist at Better Together Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele including individuals grappling with trauma, anxiety disorders, severe depression, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications
  • A valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology preferred.

  • Empathetic disposition with a commitment to non-judgmental counseling practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle a caseload effectively.
Preferred Experience
