Your Mission

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional nursing care in a remote worksite environment while supporting health and wellness programs. Responsibilities include patient assessment and treatment, maintaining clinical standards, managing medical records, and ensuring infection control. You'll also participate in emergency preparedness, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care and uphold standards set by the Nurse Practitioner/Medical Director
  • Follow International SOS and Canadian Industrial Paramedics procedures to ensure safe, effective care
  • Provide professional, patient-focused service in every interaction
  • Maintain and enhance your clinical skills through annual assessments and ongoing education
  • Understand and address occupational health needs for the client workforce
  • Take on delegated roles and responsibilities from the Nurse Practitioner
  • Welcome patients, manage clinic flow, and ensure accurate medical recordkeeping
  • Be ready for emergencies through active participation in training and preparedness programs
  • Support internal training initiatives by preparing and presenting sessions
  • Monitor and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and PPE to ensure readiness
  • Uphold infection control practices and observe standard precautions at all times
  • Keep inventories accurate and ensure all stock is in-date and available
  • Document patient care objectively and completely
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and quality improvement activities
  • Contribute to procedure development and other projects as needed

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
    Work experience as a Registered Nurse
    ACLS
    Exceptional collaboration with other groups and the ability to work under pressure
    Current registration with CARNA
    A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
