Essential duties and responsibilities 

We are seeking a skilled IT Field Installer to support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of technology systems across our car wash locations. This is a highly field-based role that requires frequent travel to multiple sites and flexibility in scheduling, including weekend availability.


This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys working in the field, traveling regularly, and supporting technology infrastructure in an active, multi-site environment.

  • Run, terminate, label, and test data (Ethernet) cabling (Cat5e/Cat6)

  • Install, mount, and configure camera and surveillance systems

  • Install, wire, and support networking equipment (switches, routers, access points)

  • Assist with server rack installation, setup, and cable management

  • Wire and support technology systems specific to car wash operations

  • Configure and connect devices to existing network infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot connectivity, cabling, camera, and basic hardware issues on site

  • Travel frequently to car wash locations for new builds, upgrades, and maintenance

  • Work weekends as needed to support installs, site openings, and operational needs

  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and vendors during installations

  •  Maintain documentation of wiring layouts, configurations, and site details

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience running and terminating data lines

  • Hands-on experience installing camera/security systems

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, switches, PoE)

  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation

  • Comfortable working in active industrial or outdoor environments

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Availability to work weekends as required

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Experience installing and configuring server racks

  •  Knowledge of structured cabling standards

  • Experience in retail, industrial, or multi-site installations

  • Familiarity with PoE cameras, NVRs, and access control systems

  • Basic experience with Windows servers or on-prem hardware

  • Relevant IT, networking, or low-voltage certifications (a plus, not required

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to approximately 50 lbs

  • Comfortable working on ladders and in tight or elevated spaces

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

  •  Willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight when required
