An Athens, Alabama based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient care in a dermatology practice. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and has one or more years of experience.

Required Qualifications 

  • AL medical license as an NP 
  • Master’s Degree (MSN), Doctoral Degree (DNP)
  • Current NP board certification by ANCC/AANP 
  • CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Additional language fluency

Responsibilities

  • Utility of advanced technology for medical, surgical, and cosmetic services for patients of all ages
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up for dermatological conditions
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services 
  • Work within evidence based medicine at all times to provide the best possible care
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
