Berger Moving & Storage is a leading provider of relocation, distribution, and warehousing services. Berger Moving & Storage in Roseville, Minnesota is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Associate Manager in our Operations department. This will be a Full-Time position for an individual looking to learn and expand their skills into the Household Moving and Distribution logistics industry. This position allows the individual to gain knowledge and experience required for possibility of promotion by working alongside managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties.


Additional responsibilities of the position include:

  • Receive training from all key operational departments of the organization.
  • Learns line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices that affect each phase of the business.
  • Work with other managers to plan and direct the work of the department to understand how it impacts the organization.
  • Set performance goals and objectives with upper management. Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers.

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • A minimum of Secondary Education in Business, Logistics, or Management; or High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of one year in a business environment with a focus on adherence to policies and procedures as a component of the business and customer service. Previous exposure to business operations or logistics is preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate previous successful experience performing the following key skills:
  • Proficiency in typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc.)
  • Must be able to work with confidential materials.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
