Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Nutrition Assistant, you will assist in delivering high-quality, safe, and efficient food services to patients and staff.
Every day you will prepare and deliver meal trays, assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, ensure food safety compliance, and interact with patients regarding dietary needs.
To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong food safety knowledge, and excellent customer service, contributing to a positive dining experience.
  • Prepares and serves food according to dietary guidelines and recipes, ensuring food safety and allergy awareness.
  • Maintains strict adherence to food safety standards, including temperature control, sanitation, and proper food storage/labeling.
  • Delivers high-quality patient and customer experiences through accurate meal portioning, appealing presentation, and service recovery.
  • Manages patient-specific dietary needs, including therapeutic diets, allergy restrictions, and explains basic diet orders to patients/families.
  • Utilizes electronic systems for diet management, patient information, and performs essential cleaning tasks.
