Both require creativity and an eye for detail but serve different purposes within the food industry.

What is a Bento Box in the context of food service jobs?

A Bento Box is a traditional Japanese meal that is served in a compartmentalized box, typically containing rice, protein (such as fish, chicken, or tofu), and a variety of side dishes like vegetables or pickles. In the food service industry, preparing and serving Bento Boxes involves assembling balanced, visually appealing meals that are convenient for takeout or dine-in customers. Bento Box chefs or staff must pay attention to portion sizes, presentation, and freshness. This role is popular in Japanese restaurants, cafes, and some catering companies.

What are the typical challenges faced when working as an animator at Bento Box Entertainment, and how can new hires prepare for them?

Animators at Bento Box Entertainment often work on fast-paced, collaborative projects—sometimes juggling multiple deadlines simultaneously. New hires may find it challenging to adapt to rapidly changing creative directions and tight production schedules, especially when working on high-profile animated series. Being proactive in communication, staying organized, and being open to feedback will help you integrate smoothly into the team. Familiarity with industry-standard animation software and a willingness to collaborate closely with writers, directors, and other animators are key to thriving in this dynamic environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Bento Box Chef, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Bento Box Chef, you need expertise in food preparation, portion control, and knowledge of nutrition and Japanese cuisine, typically supported by culinary training or experience. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, food safety certifications, and menu planning systems is essential. Attention to detail, creativity, and time management are valuable soft skills for crafting visually appealing and balanced bento boxes. These competencies ensure high-quality, attractive meals that meet customer expectations and uphold food safety standards.

Job description

OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY
FOX Entertainment
With a legacy spanning more than 35 years, FOX Entertainment is one of the world's most recognizable media brands and a prolific content producer across its iconic broadcast network and both owned and third-party streaming platforms. Known for its independent, innovative spirit and provocative, groundbreaking storytelling, the company was reinvented in 2019 with the formation of FOX Entertainment. While maintaining its leadership in broadcast television (9-1-1: Lone Star, The Simpsons, The Cleaning Lady, Hell's Kitchen, LEGO Masters), the company is actively building a portfolio of businesses and library of owned original content. To date, FOX Entertainment's long-term growth strategy has included the acquisitions of award-winning animation studio Bento Box Entertainment (Bob's Burgers, The Great North, Krapopolis, Grimsburg), entertainment platform TMZ, and global production studio MarVista Entertainment (The Way Home, Rescuing Christmas), as well as the formation of the culinary and lifestyle content venture Studio Ramsay Global (Next Level Chef, Gordon Ramsay's Food Stars) in partnership with Gordon Ramsay. The company also established its in-house unscripted studio FOX Alternative Entertainment (The Masked Singer, Snake Oil, I Can See Your Voice, Name That Tune), FOX Entertainment Studios (Animal Control) to develop scripted content, and worldwide content sales unit FOX Entertainment Global.
JOB DESCRIPTION
FoxNXT is FOX Entertainment's next-generation tech innovation studio, designed to accelerate how we create, produce, and scale premium storytelling across every business unit. Built around four integrated pillars: R&D, Production, Talent, and Education.
FoxNXT prototypes cutting-edge AI workflows, tests them in real productions, trains our creative workforce, and attracts world-class AI-native talent. Operating at the intersection of advanced Gen-AI technology and Fox's proven storytelling infrastructure, FoxNXT develops and deploys new AI pipelines across scripted, unscripted, animation, and marketing, enabling dramatically faster turnarounds, heightened creative velocity, and breakthrough audience experiences.
Everything we build is grounded in responsibility: to the creative community, to the environment, and to the longstanding values of the studio system. FoxNXT keeps the human at the center, using AI as a creative co-pilot that empowers our creative partners rather than replacing them, ensuring that innovation enhances craft, expands opportunity, and supports sustainable production practices as we shape the future of entertainment.
The Vice President, AI Production Support will lead the design, deployment, and ongoing integration of AI-enhanced workflows across FOX Entertainment productions. This executive will oversee how FOX Entertainment's creative R&D, tools, and talent are translated into reliable production-ready solutions. The role bridges technology and production, ensuring that AI pipelines deliver measurable speed, quality, and cost advantages while maintaining FOX's creative standards.
Regular, on-site attendance at the workplace for a minimum of four (4) days per week is an essential function of the position. The selected candidate must be able to reliably meet this requirement.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee implementation of AI workflows across scripted, unscripted, animation, and marketing pipelines
  • Partner with showrunners, producers, and department heads to ensure AI solutions meet creative and operational needs
  • Establish production support standards for AI-enhanced shoots, editing, VFX, and post-production
  • Build and manage a centralized AI support team to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale solutions across projects
  • Work closely with the FOX Entertainment R&D lab to graduate tested tools into production environments, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade reliability and compliance
  • Collaborate with the FOX Entertainment Education and Campus teams to train production staff on new workflows and ensure adoption at scale
  • Define and track KPIs (time saved, cost efficiencies, creative quality metrics) for AI-enhanced production support
  • Present outcomes to senior leadership
  • Ensure ethical, legal, and brand-aligned use of AI in all production support contexts, in line with FOX Entertainment's AI principles

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • 12+ years of experience in television, film, or digital production operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical and creative teams
  • Vendor management experience with enterprise technology or AI service providers
  • Proven track record implementing new production technologies (e.g., VFX pipelines, digital asset management, or AI/ML tools) in large-scale environments
  • Deep understanding of production processes across pre-production, live production, post-production, and VFX
  • Strong technical fluency with AI/ML models, generative tools, and their application to media workflows
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge between creative, technical, and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
