Fabrication Laser Bender Operator - Weekend Shift
Position Purpose
This position is responsible for performing fabrication operations and activities involved in the production of equipment that is manufactured at the JCB North America.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
  • Perform general labor operations such as load/unload parts, grinding, scraping and nibbling fabrications
  • Operate fabrication fixtures
  • Operate fabrication machine tools such as robots, lasers and brake press (machining center)
  • Apply Problem Solving Tools and Techniques to assist Fabrication in the elimination of defects

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • One year of experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments

Preferred Qualifications
  • Diploma in welding technology
  • Experience in heavy equipment manufacturing
  • One year of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Multitask while maintaining a sense of urgency
  • Flexibility with work activities
  • Ability to operate bending presses, lasers and various hand tools
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment as required

  • Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in multiple climates including: hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment.
