The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs across Fun Town RV’s multi-location operations. This role ensures that compensation practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives while supporting compliance and internal consistency.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in evaluating compensation structures, supporting sales pay plans and commissions, and collaborating with leadership to drive data-informed compensation strategies.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompensation Analysis & Benchmarking
  • Analyze compensation data across roles, departments, and locations to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
  • Conduct salary benchmarking using industry surveys and market data
  • Evaluate pay structures including base salary, commission, draw, and incentive plans
  • Create sales pay plans and commissions
  • Provide recommendations on compensation adjustments and job leveling

Program Administration & Compliance

  • Administer compensation programs including salary structures, incentive plans, and pay guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations (including FLSA classification)
  • Support audits and ensure documentation accuracy for compensation-related decisions
  • Maintain consistent compensation practices across all dealership locations
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain compensation data within HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and related systems
  • Develop and generate compensation reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership
  • Monitor trends in compensation, turnover, and hiring to support workforce planning
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems

Business Partnership & Support

  • Partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to support hiring offers, promotions, and internal equity reviews
  • Provide guidance on compensation-related decisions and policies
  • Assist with job description evaluations and role classifications
  • Support leadership with compensation planning during budgeting cycles

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, tools, and reporting capabilities
  • Support development and enhancement of compensation programs aligned with company growth
  • Assist in implementation of new compensation structures or incentive programs
  • Contribute to strategic HR initiatives related to talent attraction and retention

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis, sales pay plans and commissions, or related field
  • Experience in multi-location or dealership environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation, and market benchmarking
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present data and recommendations clearly
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
