Meadow Ridge, a Benchmark Senior Living Community, is a distinctive continuing care retirement community for discerning individuals seeking a fresh perspective on senior living. Our scenic landscape spans 136 acres nestled among rolling hills, natural woodlands and open meadows for the best of Connecticut country living, located close to conveniences. From the time our residents walk in the door and see our stunning three-story atrium, they know they have found a retirement experience like no other.

We are looking for compassionate Drivers to join our team! The Van Driver is responsible for providing concierge level transportation services for community residents.

Must possess a valid Driver’s license with F Endorsement in the State of Connecticut. 

Currently seeking a part-time driver to work to work Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Hourly Wage Range $20 - $21.25

Responsibilities

  • Transports residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips
  • Monitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety. 
  • Maintains vehicles in accordance with our internal maintenance plan to ensure they are in safe, working order.

Requirements

  •  Education – High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
  •  Have a demonstrated interest in the elderly and are knowledgeable of servicing their needs.
  •  Possess excellent communication skills.
  •  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
