Job description

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, Inc., (GCH); parent company of Bema, and Elite Extrusion Technology, recognized leader in the flexible packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization.  Bema and Elite encourage innovation from its associates and employs the latest technology plans.  Maintenance technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties which include but are not limited to; equipment installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility assets along with leading a crew of Maintenance Technicians at two facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee coordination of Maintenance Department
 • Supervise employees to meet manufacturing and production schedules
 • Develop and implement action plans for areas of inefficiencies (production, equipment, personnel)
 • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and processes
 • Coordinate production operations and maintain effective quality procedures and safety regulations
 • Provide leadership and direction to subordinates
 • Communicate well with management and personnel
 • Work with Maintenance Department to identify mechanical problems and maintain equipment
 • Follow and enforce policies and procedures
 • Perform other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by management
 • Perform regular preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility assets.
 • PLC knowledge and Electronic troubleshooting
 • Read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical schematics, drawings, and parts list
 • Experienced with hand and power tools, shop equipment, and electrical test equipment
 • Mechanical ability- machining and welding is a plus
 • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
 • Comply with all company policies, regulations and procedures
 • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or management
 • Help maintain facilities Food Safety Standards

Requirements:


 • High school diploma or GED equivalent
 • 5-10 years of “hands-on” Manufacturing Maintenance experience with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical, and mechanical equipment troubleshooting
 • Experienced in either the Flexible Packaging or blown film Industries strongly preferred
 • Able to work on ladders, lifts, and at heights
 • Available to work “on call” and on weekends when needed
 • Experienced with CMMS software preferred
 • Basic computer skills
