POSITION DETAILS – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

???? Location: Bellin Hospital
???? Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

This is a part-time, onsite position at Bellin Hospital. Applicants must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Please apply only if you can reliably work this schedule and commute to the facility.

PURPOSE: To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for filling and moving carts to assigned areas within the hospital. Provides a superior level of linen service throughout the hospital in a friendly and timely manner. Must meet quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Be on time
  • Have excellent attendance
  • Meet established hospital standards
  • Follow all company safety rules
  • Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
  • Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Possess and maintain a positive attitude
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
  • Be able to work past the schedule, as transportation issues may arise
  • Perform any other duties as manager/supervisor sees fit

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cross-train in other positions per facility needs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be able to stand on feet up to 12 hours a day
  • Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to build linen carts
  • Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, and pulling

Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics
