Job Summary (General Responsibilities):

As a People Team Intern, you will assist in execution of cyclical HR processes and further developing HR branding initiatives to enhance communication to employees and prospective recruits.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the Job Description update project

  • Assist in the execution of year-end activities including the annual review and merit process, employee engagement survey, and open enrollment activities.

  • Coordinate summer intern events and activities including community service, lunch and learn, etc.

  • Collaborate with the HR team and cross-functional partners to reimagine Belkin HR brand, including but not limited to, job descriptions, presentations, regular HR campaigns (ie. open enrollment, performance reviews, and engagement survey).

  • Assist with updating the internal Belkin blog and other internal communication (ie. Break room, etc.)

  • Support the HR Paperless Project both through participation and with various administrative responsibilities.

  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements of Belkin.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

  • Understand and follow company rules and regulations.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to be proactive and think outside of the box.

  • Strong self-initiated follow up skills with ability to organize and prioritize work.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner.

  • Ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in verbal and written form.
