We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dynamic team at A Better Self Behavioral and Psychological Center. This is a full-time, remote position that allows you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while connecting with clients through an outpatient office setting. • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients recovering from mental health and substance use disorders.
• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to gauge client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals for each client.
• Actively collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, contributing valuable insights and strategies to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Document all therapeutic interventions and client progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision and peer consultations to enhance professional development and therapy techniques.

Your expertise will focus primarily on individuals experiencing challenges related to substance use, including but not limited to alcohol, drugs, and behavioral addictions, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. You will work closely with clients of various backgrounds, understanding the diverse systemic issues affecting their mental health and creating tailored interventions to address those nuances.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• A valid, active license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• Previous experience in a clinical setting with a focus on mental health and substance use recovery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for working effectively with clients and collaborating with team members.

Preference will be given to candidates with two or more years of experience in providing therapy services specifically in substance abuse or dual diagnosis treatment settings. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will be considered advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
