About this Opportunity:
As a Behavioral Science Lead, you will synthesize behavioral finance and neuroeconomic principles into practices that improve client performance and outcome. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.
Location Status:
It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations.
Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Internal candidates currently aligned to an Orion office location may be given preference; however, internal candidates with varying work arrangements may be considered based on experience and business needs. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
In this role, you'll get to:
Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for the firm regarding behavioral finance
Stay informed of contemporary developments in the field of behavioral finance and neuroeconomics
Present relevant, complex data and concepts in delivery-methods suitable for a variety of audiences (senior leaders, associates in both small and large groups)
Develop content related to behavioral finance, including blog posts, infographics, articles, and other materials
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research pertinent to the firm's objectives
Create evidence-based assessments and surveys to map operant financial schemas, literacy, and subsequent behaviors
Implement responsive interventions that optimize financial health, literacy, and behaviors of target audiences
We're looking for talent who:
Possess strong, interdisciplinary knowledge of behavioral finance theory including cognitive, neuroeconomic, and decision-making facets
Has a minimum of a master's degree from a regionally accredited university in discipline pertinent to neurodevelopmental, socioemotional, and psychological facets of decision making, cognitive biases, heuristics, motivation, and wellbeing
Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral assessment, direct intervention, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and coaching
Has 10 years of academic familiarity with psychological bases for behavior (equivalent education and experience will be considered)
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$113,942.00 - $178,877.00
The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
