Rushton Recovery provides Medical Detox and Residential treatment services in the heart of South Lyon, MI. With a dedicated team of medical and therapeutic professionals, we offer 24/7support during detox, individualized treatment plans for lasting recovery, and expertise in addressing the underlying symptoms of addiction. Our 30+ acre campus offers evidenced-based treatment in a structured and spacious environment. We offer a wide variety of therapeutic, recreational, and mindfulness services to promote the healing process. Our goal is to treat individuals, educate their families, and promote health through healing the mind, body, and spirit.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-            High school diploma or equivalent
-            1 year work related experience in mental health or substance abuse
-            Certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Willingness to obtain prior to hiring will be sufficient.
-            Minimum of one (1) year continuous sobriety (if in recovery) 
-            Ability to pass a drug test and background check (Prior criminal history will not exclude you from consideration)
-            HIPAA Certification a plus, will require upon hire.
-            Excellent communication skills
-            Knowledge of health care regulations- state, federal, and accrediting bodies such as JCAHO or CARF
-            Valid Driver’s License, required
-            Production of negative TB test within the last year or TB assessment upon hire.
-            Understanding of the 12-step process and recovery community
 
Responsibilities:
-            Provide a safe and welcoming space for our clients.
-            Assist with intake process for new clients- including but not limited to inventory, property search, log, storage, and new client         orientation of program rules, expectations, policies, and procedures.
 
-            Must uphold HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
-            Maintain professionalism with staff and clients.
-            Report incidents, relapse, crisis, or sentinel events to appropriate staff, log accordingly.
-            Document rounds and shift notes in a timely manner.
-            Support clients and monitor their well-being.
-            Provide transportation and supervision to off-site appointments as needed.
-            Provide client updates to staff at shift change.
-            Data entry.
-            Facilitate group classes
