Complete Description:
As a child and adolescent unit for patients 5-18 years of age who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis, we are seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry. The unit focuses on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions. RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care.
Required:
NYS RN License
2 years of pediatric mental health experience
BLS (AHA only)
Preferred:
CPI blue card
Experience in a large, academic medical center
