Job description

$100,000 - $128,000 Annually | $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

San Ramon, California

The Opportunity

A Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm schedule in behavioral health nursing is not the norm — it's the exception. This home-based Behavioral Health RN role offers exactly that, paired with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to do the kind of relationship-driven psychiatric nursing that drew you to this specialty in the first place.

You'll conduct thorough clinical assessments and build personalized care plans for patients navigating anxiety, depression, dementia, and major life adjustments — helping them remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Why You'll Love This Role

Predictable schedule. Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm — no rotating shifts, no unpredictable hours to plan your life around.

Sign-on bonus. $10,000 to start, plus an annual salary of $100,000-$128,000.

Meaningful, relationship-based care. Rather than managing a unit census, you'll go deep with each patient — building trust, tracking progress over time, and supporting the emotional and social needs that go alongside clinical treatment.

Relocation assistance available for candidates coming from outside the area.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments for newly admitted behavioral health patients
  • Develop individualized care plans addressing clinical, medical, and therapeutic needs
  • Support patients managing anxiety, depression, dementia, or adjustment-related challenges
  • Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting, helping patients maintain independence
  • Travel to patients across the San Ramon area
What We're Looking For

Education & Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current, active RN license in California

Experience:

  • BSN with a focus in psychiatric or mental health nursing: minimum 1 year of recent experience (within the last 3 years preferred) in an acute psychiatric unit, psychiatric home care, PHP, or outpatient psychiatric setting
  • ADN with a focus in psychiatric or mental health nursing: minimum 2 years of recent experience (within the last 3 years preferred) in the same settings

Additional Requirements:

  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license with insured, reliable vehicle
  • Ability to travel to patients across assigned service area
Ready to Apply?

If a stable Monday-through-Friday schedule and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with your patients sound like the change you've been considering, we'd love to talk.
