Opportunity:
RN - Behavioral Health / Acute Mental Health
Job Details:
  • Organize and provide direct patient care to acute mental health patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Serve as a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions
  • Support patients' families by providing education and updates throughout the care process
  • Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the facility while serving the surrounding community
  • Meet the requirements of the Joint Commission and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies
  • Position is 0.8 FTE working 8-hour shifts on a day/night rotation with every other weekend required
  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing required
  • Behavioral health experience as an RN, BHT, or intern/capstone student preferred
  • Current nursing licensure in Minnesota required
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within one month of hire
