Behavioral Health Technician

Full-time day, & PRN opportunities - 7-7 & rotating weekends

What you will do in this role:

  • Responsible for conducting functional analyses of patient behavior, participating as a member of the treatment team, contributing to the Master Treatment Plan and implementing appropriate interventions from the plan. 
  • Conducts individual and group psycho-education, leisure activities and life- skill training and coaching for all patients. 
  • Responsible for safety monitoring of patients and of the unit.

What we're looking for:

  • High school degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
  • CPR certification and Handle With Care within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. Must be at least 21 years of age.
