  • Engage in consultation and collaboration with fellow therapists to share insights and enhance therapeutic practices within the team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population you will serve includes a diverse range of individuals facing various challenges, particularly in the context of hospice care. You will support clients and their families during critical life transitions, utilizing your skills to address emotional, psychological, and social needs, thereby promoting dignity and peace during their most vulnerable moments.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred.
  • Current and valid LCSW licensure in Texas, allowing for independent practice.
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on professionalism, therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage a full caseload effectively.
  • A self-motivated attitude that drives continuous professional development and learning.
Preferred Experience

Experience working with couples and in hospice settings will be highly regarded. Familiarity with various clinical presentations enhances your ability to tailor therapy approaches and provide effective treatment options. Applicants who have engaged in further training or specialized certifications in grief counseling, palliative care, or related areas are encouraged to apply, as we value ongoing professional growth and expertise.
