The Neuro Behavioral Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a full-time role. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental needs of clients, enabling tailored support plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized service plans aimed at meeting clients’ specific goals and challenges.
• Provide empathetic and culturally competent counseling and crisis intervention to individuals and families navigating complex life situations.
• Collaborate with clients to connect them with vital community resources, ensuring they have access to the support they need.
• Engage in risk assessments and safety planning, particularly in crisis situations, to safeguard the well-being of clients.
• Build solid relationships with community agencies and organizations, advocating effectively for clients’ needs and resource connections.
• Lead and participate in community outreach initiatives designed to heighten awareness of agency services and promote social justice.
• Contribute to professional development and team enhancement by participating in training opportunities and case conferences.

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing a variety of socio-economic challenges. This includes those dealing with mental health issues, trauma, substance abuse, poverty, and various forms of social injustice. Your expertise and interventions will help these individuals access resources, navigate their challenges, and work toward their goals of independence and improved well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices relevant to social work is essential.
• Proven communication skills, cultural competence, and effective problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this position.

• Experience working within a social service agency or a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with local community resources and services available in the Arlington area.
• Understanding of social and economic justice issues, particularly concerning mental health and wellbeing.

The annual salary for this role is competitive, ranging between $60,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a generous sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team!
