Job description

Salary: $17-$20/ hr

Who we are: FamilyMenders has served Northwest Georgia for 23 years as a DFCS-contracted provider. We have been nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation since 2012.

The role: Join our team providing in-home parent aide, behavior aide, supervised visitation, transportation, and drug testing services to children and families across Northwest Georgia. You work directly with families in their homes and communities on a flexible, PRN basis.

How pay works: You are paid per billable hour of direct service plus mileage. Rates depend on your role, education, and experience.

Parent Aide, Behavior Aide, Supervised Visitation:

  • Paraprofessional with 5 years experience, or bachelor's in human services or related field with no experience: $17/billable hour plus mileage
  • Bachelor's in human services or related field with 3 years experience working with children and families: $20/billable hour plus mileage
  • Master's in human services or related field with 1 year experience: $20/billable hour plus mileage (license-eligible master's candidates, LCSW, LPC, LAMFT, see our counseling ad)

Transportation:

  • Paraprofessional with 1 year experience: $15/billable hour with child present, half rate when child is not present (drive to pickup, wait time, adult transport), plus mileage

Drug Testing:

  • Paraprofessional with 1 year experience: $15 flat rate plus mileage

Requirements: Must pass a background check and drug screen. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license needed for in-home and transport work.

Bilingual Spanish/English providers strongly encouraged to apply.

Location: Northwest GA counties
Schedule: Flexible, based on staff and client availability. Evening, weekend, and some daytime hours.
Case load: Partial or full available
Benefits: Flexible schedule, reimbursed mileage, manageable case load, optional Aflac supplemental insurance
