These skills and qualifications are essential for delivering effective interventions, fostering positive behavioral change, and supporting client progress in diverse settings.

What are behavior interventionists?

Behavior interventionists are professionals who work with individuals, often children, who exhibit challenging behaviors due to developmental, behavioral, or mental health conditions. They use evidence-based strategies, such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), to help clients develop positive behaviors and reduce problematic ones. Behavior interventionists typically work in schools, clinics, or home settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Their goal is to support clients in achieving greater independence and success in daily life.
