As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Metrapolis Behavioral Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, evaluating their biopsychosocial needs to formulate effective treatment plans and goals.
• Provide high-quality individual, family, couple, and group therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic interventions based on clinical appropriateness and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatry and multidisciplinary teams to plan and coordinate patient care, actively participating in case reviews and program planning.
• Engage as a primary or co-therapist in group therapy sessions, offering a supportive environment for patients to share experiences and work toward recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, complying with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Uphold ethical standards of practice and agency policies, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for our patients.

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Your work will contribute directly to improving the quality of life for patients by helping them navigate their challenges through evidence-based therapeutic practices.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to counseling practices.
• Proficiency in using EMR software and related technologies for efficient case management.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Experience in primary care or medical settings.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage collaboratively with healthcare teams, emphasizing communication and cooperation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a talent for establishing rapport with a wide range of clients.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
