Qualifications & Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Valid California credential authorizing work as a BCBA within schools
- Experience providing behavioral analysis in educational environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention plan development, and data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to consult with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to promoting positive student outcomes through direct and consultative behavioral support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments for assigned student caseloads
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide staff training and ongoing consultation to support implementation of interventions
- Accurately document progress, data collection, and service delivery for reporting needs
- Work closely with school teams to ensure interventions are integrated into the existing educational framework
- Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals
- Adapt approaches as needed based on student response and team feedback
