Injection Molding Operator / Technologist (Husky Specialist)

We are seeking highly skilled Operators and Technologists to join our production team. This role is specifically designed for technical experts with a deep understanding of Husky Injection Molding systems and the nuances of PET Preform production.

If you have a proven track record of managing high-cavitation molds and high-speed production environments, we want to hear from you.


Core Responsibilities & Technical Skills

Your primary focus will be the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimization of our Husky fleet. We are looking for candidates who are "hands-on" and proficient in:

  • Machine Operation: Expert-level capability in starting and stopping machines from a "cold" state, ensuring all parameters are stabilized.

  • Process Optimization: Monitoring and adjusting processing variables to ensure cycle times and part quality meet strict specifications.

  • Tooling & Changeovers: Executing efficient Tool Changes and Color Changes to minimize downtime.

  • Maintenance & Reliability: * Performing routine cleaning and maintenance of both machines and moulds.

    • Applying TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles to improve machine uptime.

  • Troubleshooting: Advanced Fault Finding skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues quickly.


Candidate Requirements
  • Specific Equipment Experience: Significant experience with Husky NexPet and HyPet platforms is highly preferred.

  • High Cavitation Expertise: Proven experience working with moulds ranging from 48 to 128 cavities.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of PET resin behavior and preform quality standards.

  • Bonus Skills: Any additional certifications in robotics, hot runner maintenance, or lean manufacturing will be considered a significant advantage.
