Work Environment

This full-time position requires working onsite in our outpatient office located in Buffalo. You will be part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, engaging with specialists from various fields within the institution to deliver a cohesive standard of care. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients to identify health issues and formulate individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize acupuncture techniques to address a variety of pathologies, including acute, localized injuries through targeted local acupuncture.
  • Implement adjunct techniques such as cupping therapy, electro-acupuncture, and trigger point acupuncture/dry needling, where appropriate, to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in interprofessional collaboration with healthcare specialists to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Educate patients on acupuncture processes, addressing any concerns before, during, and after treatment.
  • Maintain precise documentation of patient treatments and follow-ups to track progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in continuing education initiatives to stay updated on best practices and emerging therapies.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, contributing to the overall education of the team and community outreach efforts.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in acupuncture.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
